This service creates wiki pages with images in several forms without loading image data within the page. Use this for large or detailed images that will be stored remotely.
Find freely licensed images and drag them to one of these available transporters.

If the Image Transporter shows plugins asking for help then you are probably viewing them from a wiki site that does not yet support the Transport plugin.
Clone the transporter and run it locally. github

Expect a new page in the lineup with images ready to be moved or even forked into place.

Because these images do not include the image data in the page json their caption can be edited repeatedly without creating an unusually large journal.
